About Us A very wise person once told us, "If you love your job... you will never work a day in your life!!" Well, we truly love the vocation we chose and are still as energized and positive today as we were 21 years ago when we, Tim and Mary Dean, started Tim Dean Construction, Inc. right here in one of the most beautiful, pristine places on earth- Bozeman, Montana. So, how did we get where we are today? This is definitely a lengthy story and one that would require an evening in front of one of our award winning fireplaces, on a cold winter night. But, to make a long story short, we contribute our start in custom home building to a lot of hard work and our early involvement in the National Association of Homebuilders. When we joined the Association in 1983, it became immediately obvious that we needed to listen, keep our mouths shut, listen some more, take a lot of notes, and listen some more to the old veterans that have made the building industry what is is today. What we did hear loud and clear is this: maintain diversity (because you live in Montana) but establish a niche! We soon realized that our greatest love is the custom home. We are so very proud and thankful that today we have been given the opportunity and have now built over 500+ homes in the Gallatin Valley and of these 500+ homes- only 3 have been for speculation. The rest have been built custom for a local family. How does it get any better than that... We turn dreams into reality.
